Integrity. Foresight. Pitchforks. Patrick.

Dear Neighbors:

I'm backing Patrick Killelea's as a write in candidate for Congress in the 14th Congressional District -- which spans much of the Peninsula -- this November.

Here's why I think you should, too:

I've been a long-time fan of Patrick's blog, Patrick.net, where for years he has been calling attention to the dangerous housing bubble, predicting a painful bust, and shining a light on the fiscal mismanagement on Wall Street and in Washington that has got the economy where it is today.

In short, Patrick has been right, where so many others have been wrong.

*Patrick understands the financial crisis that has gripped America, and -- unlike Congresswoman Anna Esshoo -- he understands that a bailout isn't the answer;

*Patrick isn't afraid to call it like he sees it... he's written about the trouble being created by bad loan practices for years when other leaders were ignoring, or, worse yet, compounding the crisis;

*Patrick knows how to get the message across: his call that this is a time for "pitchforks and torches" in a recent televised interview was a humorous and completely on the money call to action on this critical issue.

I'll be communicating more, in the weeks to come, on these issues, and on why voting for Patrick Killelea will send exactly the right message to our elected representatives.

Best,

Brian

P.S. Patrick is in no way backing this write in effort financially, or otherwise. I am undertaking this entirely on my own initiative.
